• Data, monitoring, and modeling tools in the region are growing, but can be fragmented or hard to track down

• The Working Group is an avenue for making data access and availability easier for members, professionals, and the public

• Members can help shape a proposal to advance data science resources that support their work and the water sector at large

Data Science Working Group 2026 Objectives

• Landscape scan of relevant data and tools

• Identification of knowledge gap and coordination opportunities

• Creation of a regional data portal or directory

• Laying the foundation for a Regional Water Information System
