About the Forum
The Southeast Louisiana Adaptation Forum (SELAAF, Forum) will engage and connect people to advance implementation of transformative green infrastructure and climate adaptation projects, to support regional and cross-sector professional coordination, and to build capacity of the region’s practitioners through shared learning.
Inspired by stakeholder feedback collected during Urban Water @ 10, the Southeast Louisiana Adaptation Forum builds on over a decade of planning and collaboration across the Greater New Orleans region. The Forum furthers efforts to adopt a holistic and adaptive vision for water management that centers the leadership of vulnerable communities in science-driven, nature-based solutions to address flooding, heat, and other climate hazards. Realizing this vision requires strong multi-jurisdictional, cross-sector regional collaboration with an equitable structure that enables enduring action and impact.
